Irresistible! Drama Everybody Conference
Influencing Kenyan society with the gospel of Christ, using the tool of the arts, initially focusing on the dramatic arts, and training and mentoring Christian artists to use their arts to make God irresistible to the church and society.
5-6 October, 2012
Nairobi Baptist Church, Kenya
Irresistible! Drama is about creating an arts (theatre) culture that is irresistible to the Churches, artists and audiences alike.
Our Goals:
Teaching churches (through participants) how to make church irresistible through art.
Encouraging artists by helping them get excited about their art and just how much they can achieve with it.
Technical Training: Tools and workshops to help the artist improve their skills.
Mentors: Give artists live examples of people who’ve gone before them who they can look up to.
Network: Connecting artists with resources, opportunities and people that will leave them better networked.
Mobilize: Include trend setters from the industry and equip them from a Biblical worldview.
This conference is for actors, directors, members of drama ministries, and Christian performing artists on stage and in the media. Be inspired and refreshed by workshops in acting, directing, drama ministry, writing and movement, led by professionals in the field. Make connections with other Christians in the field, and continue to work toward excellent and irresistible art.
